The Facts Matter.

A Montecito native (SBHS Class of ’88), retired Air Force JAG officer and business owner, I was appointed to the Montecito Sanitary District Board in July 2025 and was elected President in December.

The District faces decisions that will outlast everyone now serving on its Board: a long-term answer for the treatment plant, and sustained investment in 74 miles of collection-system pipe. Both reach ratepayers. These are engineering and financial questions, not ideological ones — develop the alternatives, understand what each actually costs and risks, then decide.

This is what I have brought to the Board, and it is why I am asking to continue.
